Sky Quackenbush started her career working with raptors in 2018 by interning with both Nature's Educators and Rocky Mountain Raptor Program. At RMRP, she gained some basic rehabilitation knowledge and skills working with different species including Great-horned Owls, Cooper's Hawks, Swainson's Hawks and more! At Nature's Educators she learned basic presenting and handling skills with raptors, reptiles and rabbits. For a short time in 2019, she interned a rehab facility to gain experience with songbirds waterfowl and raccoons. She currently is the Animal Care and Program Specialist for Nature's Educators based at our location in Florence! She graduated in May 2021 from CSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology along with a minor in Zoology.
